Here are some great pre- and post-meeting ideas to share with your attendees

  • Dine on the famous traditional four-course lunch or six-course dinner (both of which begin with broiled grapefruit) at Chalet Suzanne Country Inn & Restaurant. Afterward, tour the onsite soup cannery.

  • Stay at a real working cattle ranch, Westgate River Ranch, and join in activities such as horseback riding, trap and skeet shooting, river touring, a Wild West-style rodeo, and more.

  • Take advantage of the area's 554 lakes and go swimming, fishing, airboating, water-skiing, cruising, or canoeing.

  • Marvel at the spectacular gardens and carillon tower of Bok Tower Gardens, a National Historic Landmark situated on one of Florida’s highest points.

  • Learn about the history of flight through the aircraft and artifacts at The Florida Air Museum. This is also the site of the world-famous Sun n' Fun Fly-n: held each April, it's a can't-miss even for land-lovers.

  • Discover art for everyone: adults will enjoy the masterpieces on display at the Polk Museum of Art, while kids can test their own artistic skills at Explorations V Children’s Museum.

  • Tour the Florida Southern College campus to see the world’s finest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture grouped at a single site. There are 12 structures altogether, including the "Child of the Sun" visitor center.

  • Catch a Detroit Tigers spring training game at Lakeland's Joker Marchant Stadium.

  • Chat with a real cowboy on the weekends at Lake Kissimmee State Park.
