Fine Group Dining at the Caribe Royale
Award-winning dining: Groups coming to Orlando can add a AAA Four Diamond dining experience to their meeting or conference agenda. The Zagat-rated Venetian Room locatedin the Caribe Royale Orlando All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center, offers an intimate setting that can accommodate groups of up to 70 people in semi-private areas or for complete privacy, a group buyout.
Chef Khalid Benghallem, who leads the Venetian Room's culinary team, was recently inducted into Orlando magazine’s Dining Hall of Fame and named to the Top 20 Chefs in Central Florida by Restaurant Forum.
The Venetian Room specializes in fresh seafood and prime meats and is known for its signature dish, lobster bisque, as well as Dover sole flown in from Dover, England. magazine. Trained in Europe and North Africa, Chef Khalid was on the opening staff of Emeril's Orlando.
The Caribe Royale is grand and expansive, featuring 150,000 square feet of meeting space in the hotel's conference complex. Three

ballrooms (one 40,000, one 60,000 and one 6,400 square feet) and 31 breakout rooms are available. Lakeside villas can also be used as breakouts.
In February 2009, the Caribe Royale united with Buena Vista Suites to become the Southeast's largest all-suite property with a combined total of 1,497 large, one-bedroom suites and 120 two-bedroom lakeside villas. The two resorts retain their individual names and distinctive identities but are known together as The Caribe. All suites in both the Caribe Royale and Buena Vista Suites underwent a $25 million renovation, completed in April 2009.
