SATURDAY

8:30 am: Breakfast at Pies & Plates, specializing in gourmet coffee and tea

10:00 am - 11:30 am: Swamp Buggy Eco-Tour at Babcock Wilderness Adventures. Discover the natural heart of Florida on a 90-minute nature tour amidst the 90,000-acre Crescent B Ranch and observe the silent beauty of diverse ecosystems. Interpreters provide insights into the fabulous flora and fauna as you travel through open prairie, pine flat-woods, cypress swamp and freshwater marsh. Up close and personal, you’ll see Southern Cougars, alligators, historic cracker cattle, native birdlife, wild pigs, turkeys and even modern-day cow-hunters working the trailhead. Travel through the natural scenery which provided the set for the Sean Connery movie Just Cause, filmed on the ranch in the '90s.

4:00 pm: Behind the Scenes Tour of the Peace River Wildlife Center. Tucked neatly into the mangroves overlooking Charlotte Harbor is the Peace River Wildlife Center - a rescue, rehabilitation and release facility for locally injured and orphaned wildlife. Stroll the paths meandering through the palms and meet pelicans, sandhill cranes, red-tail hawks, great horned owls and American bald eagles. Listen carefully as their story unfolds.

7:00 pm: Visani Comedy Club. Enjoy a unique dining experience and then some quality entertainment as Visani offers a variety of music and entertainment from all over the United States including top talents from The Comedy Zone. Every week, comedians from Las Vegas to New York are featured at Visani in Port Charlotte, Florida.

SUNDAY

7:30 am – 11:30 am: Half-day, guided back-bay fishing trip with King Fisher Fleet amidst the Charlotte Harbor Aquatic Preserve. This shallow water guided trip in Charlotte Harbor offers such species as snook, redfish, tarpon, sea trout, sharks and others.
